About Ohio scholarships

Did you know that there are scholarships available for students in Ohio? In fact, there are a variety of scholarships available, from academic scholarships to athletic scholarships. Some of these scholarships are need-based while others are merit-based. So no matter what your interests or talents may be, there is likely a scholarship out there for you.

Most academic scholarships are typically awarded based on a student’s academic achievements, such as grades and test scores. To apply for these scholarships, students must fill out an application form and submit it with their transcripts and other supporting documents. Athletic scholarships usually require the applicant to submit a video of their performance, as well as other evidence that demonstrates their athletic ability.

Need-based scholarships consider a student’s financial situation and are typically reserved for students who cannot afford to pay tuition costs out of pocket. These may be awarded based on family income or assets, and applicants will typically need to provide proof of their financial situation.
