Scholarships for Native American Students

The Scholarship is awarded to students who belong to the American Indian, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, First Nations, and other indigenous communities of North America to further their STEM education.

The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), in partnership with Aristocrat/VGT, offers the AISES Aristocrat Scholarship, ranging from $2,500 to $5,000, to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in a field related to casino gaming.

The American Political Science Association offers the APSA Diversity Fellowship Program of $5,000 to 14 graduate students from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups to pursue their doctorate degrees in political science.

William K. Schubert Minority Nursing Scholarship is an annual program to support students from underrepresented groups accepted or enrolled in a prelicensure registered nurse program.

The AISES 3M Scholarship is for incoming college freshmen from American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, First Nations, and other indigenous communities of North America to enroll in a STEM-related degree.

The American Planning Association (APA) provides the APA Judith McManus Price Scholarship of $1,000 to female and minority students to pursue careers as practicing planners in the public sector.

The Kansas Board of Regents offers the Kansas Ethnic Minority Scholarship of $1,850 to ethnic minority high school senior students in Kansas to pursue undergraduate degree programs of their choice.

The scholarships are awarded annually to brilliant minority students for their academic excellence to pursue a degree in accounting.

The Scholarship, administered by Ohio Newspaper Association, offers one scholarship to the value of $750 to a high school senior majoring in journalism, advertising, marketing, or communications.

Annually, college students in the United States apply for the For A Bright Future Global Scholarship to complete their degree programs. The scholarship is renewable.

The American Association of School Personnel Administrators (AASPA) offers the Leon Bradley Scholarship Program of $3,500 to two minority students of all levels pursuing teaching certificates in the U.S.

The scholarship, administered by Warner Norcross & Judd and Grand Rapids Community Foundation, is offered to a minority student enrolled at or pursuing a law degree at an accredited U.S. institution.

The NBCC Minority Fellowship Program is a $20,000- scholarship and fellowship program that supports mental-health counselors pursuing doctoral studies in the United States.

The Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program of $2,800 is awarded to undergraduate or graduate students interested in advancing toward doctoral study upon completing their bachelor's degree.

Buckfire Law firm annually offers the Law School Diversity Scholarship Program to support law school students belonging to minority groups or demonstrating a defined commitment to issues of diversity.

The Scholarship is awarded to a student enrolled in a teacher training program at a Connecticut college or university. Students in their junior or senior year and master’s students are eligible to apply.

The AIS Scholarship Program offers $500-$2000 in scholarships to 1,000 students.

The Oracle Corporation, with the UNCF, offers 25 scholarships valued at $10,000 for undergraduate studies across the United States. Only African American, Hispanic, and Native American students are eligible.

The Chairish Design Your Future Scholarship is awarded to students from underrepresented minority groups and of all educational levels enrolled in accredited post-secondary institutions to further their education.

Chevron awards a $7,500 scholarship to meritorious students in engineering and computer science from African American, Native North American, Alaska Tribe, Pacific Islander, or Hispanic backgrounds.

Chitimacha Tribe of Louisiana Scholarships

The Sovereign Nation of the Chitimacha offers the Chitimacha Scholarship to provide financial assistance to high school graduates from the Chitimacha tribe in Louisiana to continue their education.

The California Library Association offers $2,500 to three California minority graduate students pursuing a graduate degree program in library and information science at one of the ALA-accredited universities.

Annually, Goldman Sachs awards from $10,000 to $15,000 each to Black, Hispanic, and Native American college and undergraduate students through the Goldman Sachs Scholarship for Excellence program.

The National Science Foundation Scholarship for Archaeological Training will fund up to four Native American students or tribal employees with up to $6,000 for archaeological training or archeological research programs.
