Scholarships for High School Freshmen

The Armenian Relief Society of Eastern US offers two scholarships valued to undergraduate students of Armenian heritage.

Female students pursuing a career in water works are eligible for a $1,000 award from the Maine Water Utilities Scholarship Fund.

The scholarship offers a $1,000 award to high school seniors and/or college freshmen enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a water industry or an environmental degree.

The Prince Kūhiō Hawaiian Civic Club offers the Prince Kūhiō Hawaiian Civic Club Scholarship to Native Hawaiian undergraduates and graduate students majoring in journalism, education, communications, or Hawaiian studies.

VMDAEC Educational Foundation Scholarship

The VMDAEC Educational Scholarship Foundation annually offers scholarships of $1,000 to high school seniors and graduates from Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware to pursue an undergraduate degree.

The WRA Education Foundation offers the WRA EF Culinary and Hospitality Scholarship of $1,000 to 25 undergraduate students from Wisconsin pursuing programs in hospitality and culinary arts.

Richard W. Collins III Leadership with Honor Scholarship

Maryland Higher Education Commission annually awards the Richard W. Collins Leadership with Honor Scholarship to minority students who are part of ROTC programs at Maryland’s four HBCUs.

The Plant/Distribution System Operators Scholarship of $500 is to assist AWWA member operators of drinking water treatment or distribution systems. It’s awarded to four individuals pursuing water system courses.

$20,000 is awarded to an outstanding student attending a partner institution by the CME Group Foundation.

The scholarship is awarded to an adult student in the Memphis area, pursuing an undergraduate degree in an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational or technical institution.

The Iowa Games offers the Brian Pearson Memorial Scholarship to two outstanding high school student athletes who participated in the Iowa Games to pursue undergraduate studies of their choice.

Rhode Island Foundation offers the United Italian American Inc. Scholarship to resident students who are attending or plan to attend a two- or four-year post-secondary institution in Rhode Island.

The Women Leading Kentucky program offers various $1,500 scholarships for female undergraduate students.

Annually, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) presents the Alaska Section One AWWA Operator Scholarship to one Alaskan-based waterworks operator to support them through their education.

Annually, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) grants up to $5,000 in funding to one Alaskan-based student looking to develop the waterworks industry in their region.

The $1,000 scholarship is offered to a student either enrolled in a two- or four-year degree related to the water operator profession or is currently a water or wastewater operator.

Honors Graduation offers five undergraduate students scholarship awards of $10,000 and an extra $5,000 for the best overall project. It’s financial support for students to complete their undergraduate studies.

The Women's Press Club of Indiana (WPCI) offers the Hortense Myers Scholarship of $1,000 to college junior students to further their education in journalism degree in Indiana.

Project Impact Mississippi awards the LTC David L. Evans Excellence in Leadership Scholarship of $1,000 to undergraduate students at Jackson State University to complete their degree programs.

Project Impact Mississippi offers this scholarship to a university student in Mississippi pursuing a major in psychology, counseling, or related field. The scholarship focuses on mental health issues.

Project Impact Mississippi awards the Quoinsetta Franklin Physical Therapy Scholarship of $1,000 to an African American university student pursuing a degree in physical therapy in Mississippi.

The Sandra Cooper Nursing Scholarship, administered by Project Impact Mississippi, awards $1,000 to a Mississippi resident student enrolled in a junior college or university in the state of Mississippi.

Project Impact Mississippi awards the Willie & Margrett Bailey Memorial Scholarship of $1,000 to a high school senior in Mississippi enrolling in a junior college or university in Mississippi.

The Jeanne L. Hammond Memorial Scholarship offers one $1,500 scholarship to a female undergraduate student in Maine.

The Lemieux Lovejoy Youth Scholarship offers one $1,500 scholarship to a female high school senior.
