The Deborah E. Trautman Future Nurse Leader Scholarship was created in honor of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing CEO and President Dr. Deborah Trautman. The scholarship is funded by Liaison International, a partner in NursingCAS.
The Deborah E. Trautman Future Nurse Leader Scholarship is both a scholarship and a leadership program administered by AACN. The scholarship is open to nursing students pursuing a master’s or doctorate in nursing program offered at an AACN member school.
The scholarship awards $3,500 to graduate nursing students who demonstrate a desire to thrive in leadership positions in academic nursing. The scholarship additionally awards $2,000 to cater to educational expenses which are channeled directly to the recipient’s account.
