APWA Nevada Intern-Focused Scholarship Program

The American Public Works Association Nevada Chapter offers awards ranging from $1,500 to $6,000 to college/university students studying civil engineering, survey, science, and public work-related fields.

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) offers the American Electric Power Scholarship to an eligible student enrolled in an ABET-accredited school who demonstrates an interest in power engineering.

The awards, worth $10,000, are offered annually and are for students intending to pursue a teaching career in engineering at the university level. The applications are accepted between January and March each year.

Project Impact Mississippi offers the HYPE Scholarship of $1,000 to high school seniors who want to pursue a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) degree in Mississippi.
