Engineering Scholarships

SMRP offers the Legacy of Excellence Scholarship awards one student, pursuing a maintenance or reliability-related four-year degree, $10,000 to complete their education. It’s the most prestigious award in the organization’s history.

APWA Nevada Intern-Focused Scholarship Program

The American Public Works Association Nevada Chapter offers awards ranging from $1,500 to $6,000 to college/university students studying civil engineering, survey, science, and public work-related fields.

The annual scholarship is for any female student of any nationality studying engineering, math, or science at the undergraduate level with the goal to pursue careers in the aerospace industry.

The Great Unknowns Scholarship supports high-school seniors planning to pursue an undergraduate program related to sciences, technology, engineering, arts, or math. The scholarships are renewable annually depending on performance.

The Carollo Engineers Bryant L. Bench Scholarship of $10,000, administered by the American Water Works Association is awarded to graduate students passionate about finding innovative solutions to the planet’s water challenges.

The AWWA awards one graduate student, in a research-based postgraduate program in water science and engineering, the Stantec Scholarship of $10,000 to enhance their education and develop their career.

The American Water Works Association (AWWA) awards two students the Larson Aquatic Research Scholarship to pursue degrees in engineering or sciences related to water conservation and distribution.

Every year, Arcadis awards a $5,000 scholarship to a student from an underrepresented racial and ethnic minority group who is pursuing a graduate degree in STEM fields.

ARRL Foundation annually grants the Henry Broughton, K2AE, Memorial Scholarship to a New York-based amateur radio operator who is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in science and engineering.

Six high school students receive a $1000- scholarship each from the MIT THINK Scholars Program to further their education.

The Volkswagen Group of America offers HBCU juniors summer internships and $11,500 merit-based scholarships.
