The Kenneth C. Novak Manufacturing Scholarship is an award valued between $1,000 to $6,000, offered to students seeking a degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, metallurgical engineering, fabrication, welding, metal working, and other closely related engineering fields.

The scholarship, which is sponsored by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Education Foundation, is a way of empowering young people to pursue careers in engineering and manufacturing. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and have a GPA of 2.50.

The award is available for Illinois residents and applied at all accredited four-year institutions. Yet preference is given to those enrolled at or planning to attend one of the following colleges: College of DuPage, Glen Ellyn, IL Triton College, River Grove, IL Moraine Valley Community College, Palos Hills, IL Joliet Junior College, Joliet, IL or branch campus location.
