The Rocky Mountain Mining Institute (RMMI) is a nonprofit educational organization founded on November 11, 1912, for mining industry members. The mission of RMMI, a professional association made up of individuals and supported by businesses, is to promote exceptional safety processes, behaviors, performance, and results through training, benchmarking, and evaluation.
