UBS/Painwebber is one of the top ranking global financial companies that provide a wide range of services to governments, institutions, and corporations over the past century. As part of its mission, the organization has designed this scholarship program to support those interested in a career in business.

The UBS/PainWebber Scholarship is awarded to sophomores or juniors who demonstrate academic excellence in business disciplines at UNCF colleges or universities. The award amount is up to $8,000 to cover the financial needs for students to complete their undergraduate programs and pursue careers in business or any related field.

Beside grade transcripts and résumés, applicants must include two essays on career aspirations and a business related topic. Two letters of reference are required, one of which must provide the student’s academic performance.
