The American Legion Baseball League is regarded as one of the most successful and heritage youth sports leagues in the United States. Today, more than 5,400 teams from all 50 states, as well as Canada and Puerto Rico, have registered for the program.
The American Legion All-Academic Team, sponsored by Diamond Sports, the official baseball for American Legion national championships, will consider these department baseball scholarship winners. The scholarship selection committee at The American Legion World Series will provide an additional $2,500- scholarship to eight players. A ninth player will get a $5,000- scholarship for being the most outstanding member of the All-Academic Team.
