Scholaroo conducted an analysis of data gathered from public and private colleges across the United States to reveal the average expenses for out-of-state students at each state’s universities.

Scholaroo´s data team gathered information from official public data available that displays the average total cost for one year at 1,728 different colleges and universities around the United States.

The total annual cost at each school reflects the 2018-19 academic year and takes into account all expenses, including tuition and fees, books and supplies, on-campus room and board, and other on-campus expenses for out-of-state students living on campus.
