2

Know details about art entries

Submit 2D paintings on paper or canvas using watercolor, charcoal, acrylic, oil, pen, and various other mediums to become eligible for the scholarship. You can also submit 3D paintings, including paper, pottery, fabric, metalwork, and so on. Digital art, jewelry, and photography are not eligible for the contest.

3

Display patriotism through your work

Explain patriotism with your artwork – it’s the most important criterion. Ensure that you write a detailed explanation in your essay. Remember to keep it within 250 words maximum.

4

Know if you are eligible

Know if you are eligible for the scholarship as it is strictly prohibited for some students. Foreign exchange students, adult education students, GED, and students aged 20 years or older are not eligible. If you have won the scholarship before, you are ineligible. Check the website to determine if you qualify for the scholarship.

How the Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest is Judged
