The Warner Norcross & Judd Paralegal and Legal Secretarial Scholarship is an initiative of two organizations: Warner Norcross & Judd law firm (Warner) and the Grand Rapids Community Foundation (GRCF). While Warner sponsors the scholarship, GRCF administers it. The scholarship is part of the two organizations’ commitment to uplift the lives of members of the communities in which they operate.

The scholarship is open to students of color who are residents of Michigan. Additionally, they must be pursuing either paralegal or legal secretarial programs at accredited institutions. They must also be U.S. citizens to qualify as recipients.

The scholarship provides two prizes to the overall winners. On one hand, the winning candidate for the paralegal scholarship is awarded $2,000, while the legal secretarial scholarship comes with a $1,000- award. The amounts can be used to pay for the scholars’ education-related expenses.
