It is not available during the summer

The Resident Opportunity Scholarship is unavailable for students who run academic degree programs during the summer term.


The award is for first-time students

Graduating high school seniors, planning to enroll in Portland State University for the first time, are welcome to apply for this scholarship.


Requirements from scholarship recipients

To keep receiving the award, scholarship recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. Winners must also enroll in a minimum of 12 credits per term and 36 credits per year.
