Raymond C. Miller Scholarship
American Public Transportation Foundation
Since its inception, the American Public Transportation Foundation (APTF) has offered scholarships to eligible students and transit professionals in order to advance its aim of expanding and maintaining the number of people selecting the transit field as a career. Any upper-class undergraduate student or any established transportation professional pursuing a degree is eligible for the scholarships.
The Raymond C. Miller Scholarship is awarded annually by the APTF foundation to 30 applicants who are committed to a career in the public transportation industry. The scholarships range from $6,000 to $10,000 stipend that is given for the duration of the academic year, starting with the fall semester, and helps with tuition or other educational expenditures. This can cover housing, stationery, and books.
Candidates must, however, be sponsored by an APTA member organization or APTA member assignee and satisfy their stated requirements. All qualified people will have equal chance and consideration from the Foundation.
