Stand out from the crowd
The scholarship gives you the opportunity to talk more about yourself, your interests, and your ambitions. If you qualify, your writing should focus on life experiences that have shaped you. Share your most meaningful characteristics and hobbies to stand out. This will give them a better idea of who you are outside of your application.
Have your essay reviewed
Ask a trusted friend or an advisor to review your statement. It’s always a good idea for someone other than you to read your work as they can give you feedback on readability and identify areas for improvement.
