Music Committee Scholarship

The Music Committee Scholarship Program was established by the American Legion to support Kansas high school students with musical talents. Those who have distinguished themselves in the field of music and/or who will major or minor in music at an approved Kansas junior college, college, or university, are eligible to apply.
Every year, the Music Committee Scholarship committee awards up to $1,000 to undergraduate students pursuing studies in the field of music. The scholarship program aims at promoting the music profession.
Applicants must demonstrate their musical talent, and prove their grade transcripts, and recommendation letters, one of which must be from their music instructor or teacher.
