The Montana Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc., founded in 1937, is a nonprofit educational organization with statewide members and many individual Montana garden clubs across the state. The organization has an affiliation with the largest volunteer gardening organization globally, National Garden Clubs, Inc.
Every year, the organization awards one scholarship valued at $1,000 per recipient to students undertaking undergraduate study and planning to pursue a career in various horticulture-related fields at an accredited institution in the United States.
In addition, the scholarship program is intended to meet students’ educational expenses while getting higher education. The organization also operates a garden club with an open membership policy throughout the year that helps in providing much-needed education and experience to aspiring students.

To be eligible, you must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident residing in Montana.
Education classification level
You must be enrolled in a Montana state school and have completed the required credits to be considered a sophomore and must not have CCOA resources (Complete cost of attendance).
