The Mildred C. (Millie) Hanson, SIOR Memorial Fund awards an $8,000 scholarship to an outstanding junior or senior undergraduate female student enrolled in an accredited real estate, business, or finance program at a college or university in the United States or Canada who intends to pursue a career in commercial real estate. The fund was created to honor and support women in commercial real estate.

The Mildred C. Hanson, SIOR Memorial Fund was established as a scholarship program in 2008 to encourage and support deserving female students to pursue degrees that will prepare them for rewarding careers in the commercial real estate sector.

All applicants must be admitted to or enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university that is physically situated in the United States or Canada, be pursuing an undergraduate degree in a field related to commercial real estate, and, if necessary, provide documentation of their financial need.
