Since its establishment in 2004 by the MCCA law firm, the LMJ Scholarship Program has provided a diversity scholarship to support doctorate students. The scholarship is open to women and diverse students, who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States pursuing studies in law.
The LMJ Scholarship Program has provided scholarships worth over $3.7 million to about 222 law students. The selection criteria are based on academic achievement, leadership qualities, community service, financial need, and a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity. Up to six students are awarded $10,000 to support them in their first year of law school.
