AMS Senior Named Scholarships
American Meteorological Society
In memory of a loved one or to honor an individual’s contributions to science, the AMS Senior Named Scholarships are a group of scholarships awarded to senior undergraduates. It is to help further the education of outstanding students pursuing degrees in atmospheric, related oceanic, or hydrologic sciences.
The scholarship prize awards range from $2,000 to $10,000. Also, winners are asked to attend the AMS Annual Meeting with partial funding (free registration and lodging, but no travel costs).
The scholarship is paid to the winner’s school to help pay their final year tuition.
