In the state of Indiana, engineers can count on the Indiana Society of Professional Engineers (ISPE) to give them resources to excel and improve their work. Not only do they wish to help those who are professionals already, but they also wish to attract more people to the field.

To encourage high school graduates to enroll in engineering majors was through providing a number of scholarships for every educational level. This program titled the Indiana Society of Professional Engineers (ISPE) Scholarship valued at $2,000 per academic year.

Among the criteria for this scholarship are: living in Indiana, studying at an accredited university within the state or somewhere the applicant commutes daily, and being enrolled in an undergraduate engineering course. Applicants are to submit recommendation letters along with their application and official transcripts. A transmittal letter is required for transfer students.
