The Horse Heaven Hills Wine Growers is a nonprofit organization founded in 2005 to enable undergraduate and graduate students interested in viticulture, enology, and business management to pursue higher education.

Two scholarships worth $3,000, each, are offered each year. The sponsors give preference to candidates applying from Klickitat, Benton, or Yakima countries. Similarly, candidates with parents who are employees of the Washington Wine industry will be given priority.

The Washington Wine Industry Foundation has numerous other programs in addition to this, which are building a bright future for the industry. Most are focused on college and university students.

The National AMBUCS Inc issues the scholarship to graduate students pursuing degrees in accredited therapy programs in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and hearing audiology.
