A long-standing objective of the Greater Boston PFLAG Scholarship program is to help people who have dedicated their time and energy to make a positive impact in their local community achieve their dreams by making higher education more affordable.

PFLAG Greater Boston is based in the greater Boston area. The program is to alter people’s minds and foster tolerance so that homosexual family members and friends may have a dignified and accepting existence. It provides support, education, and advocacy.

The annual scholarship program of $5,000 has been awarded since 2021, in conjunction with the parents of Thomas V. Earle, in honor of their son’s heroism and leadership in advocating LGBTQ+ inclusiveness. With their aid, they want to provide another worthy high school student with the chance to pursue a difficult and rewarding college education.
