The Conservation Districts of Iowa is an organization that informs, leads, and educates Iowans through local soil and water conservation districts to promote the conservation of natural resources.

CDI is offering scholarships to Iowa students interested in conservation and agriculture to foster their higher education so they can become professionals in their respective fields. The top three scholarships will be awarded at the state level in the amounts of $3,000, $2,000, and $1,000. Winners from the remaining six regions will each receive $500. Scholarship winners will have their awards sent to their schools of choice.

First, second, and third place awards will be paid directly to the applicant’s school of choice in two equal installments, one upon enrollment at the beginning of the year and the second at midterm. The six other scholarships will be paid directly to the students.
