On September 28, 1941, the Colorado Chapter was formed. The Colorado Ninety-Nines, which currently boasts around 150 members, is the largest in the organization. All female high school seniors to undergraduate students in aviation who fulfill all other qualifying conditions are eligible to apply for the Colorado Future Woman Pilot Scholarship.

The Ninety-Nines: International Organization of Women Pilots’ objective is to empower aviation growth through education, scholarship programs, and group solidarity while honoring its rich and varied history and embracing the joy of flight. Every year, the Colorado Chapter of The Ninety-Nines awards a scholarship to a woman pilot in the state. Applicants are evaluated on their flight competencies and must have completed at least 10 hours of flight duration.

The Colorado Future Woman Pilot Scholarship program provides an opportunity for hardworking and talented Colorado women to attend a supporting and interactive educational aviation environment to assist them to reach their goals.

The Colorado Chapter of The Ninety-Nines awards a scholarship to a woman pilot in Colorado every May. This year, three deserving winners will get scholarships to help them get their primary pilot certificate and fulfill their ambitions.
