AZ Water Scholarship
American Water Works Association
The AZ Water Association affiliated with the American Water Works Association (AWWA) funds undergraduate and graduate students with over $10,000 to financially support those who aspire to make a difference in the future of water in Arizona. It created the AZ Water Scholarship of up to $5,000 for students pursuing a career in the water/wastewater profession.
Applicants must be Arizona residents and enrolled in one of Arizona’s higher educational institutions. They are only required to complete their application forms, a two-page essay, and letters of recommendation. A minimum GPA is not required.
This scholarship was created to strengthen Arizona’s water supply business and to help all residents of the state to have access to clean water and basic sanitation. Awards are distributed during AWWA’s annual conference.
