PGA Reach has initiated the PGA WORKS Golf Management University Scholarship Program, a scholarship program to assist students willing to pursue membership at PGA of America. Every year, 16 students stand a chance to win a scholarship of $8,000 each. The scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students enrolled in reputed universities such as Penn State University and Coastal Carolina University.
The scholarship enhances the recruitment and retention of talented students enrolled at Golf Management University Programs in the U.S. Among the 16 scholarship recipients, the top candidate experienced or interested in working on international platforms receives an award.
Scholarship America makes the scholarship payments on behalf of PGA of America. The scholarship payment is made in two equal installments in early August and mid-December. Students are required to submit proof of financial status while applying for the scholarship.
