The National PCEA Ted G. Wilson Memorial Scholarship Foundation was founded in 1988, in honor of Ted Wilson (1932-1987). Ted Wilson was the first National Executive Director of the PCEA. The main purpose of the foundation is to offer scholarship opportunities in each of the states that have PCEA chapters, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

Applicants must plan to attend university or college approved by the scholarship committee. In addition, college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a construction-related course are eligible for the scholarship as well. During the application process, applicants are required to fill out an application form and submit it with the required supporting documents.

The scholarship grants each winner an amount of $1,500 for the school year. This monetary prize can be used to cover education expenses and supplies. Winners also gain positive publicity as they are recognized on the scholarship’s official website.
