The MJSA Education Foundation Jewelry Scholarship is administered and sponsored by the Rhode Island Foundation. The foundation dedicates itself to making Rhode Island students’ lives better by partnering with generous individuals, families, organizations, and corporations who share their passion for the state and nonprofit organizations that provide “on-the-ground” services.
MJSA Education Foundation Jewelry Scholarship is valued between $500 and $2,500 and was created to financially support undergraduate and graduate students to further their education in jewelry design and other jewelry-related fields.
Applicants need not be residents of Rhode Island yet must demonstrate a passion for the field. There is no minimum GPA requirement; however, applicants must provide transcripts and demonstrate academic excellence, an essay, recommendation letters, and provide their design and work portfolio. The award is paid to the winner’s school to assist in paying their tuition.
