Born on May 25, 1978, Josh Fielder earned a college degree in technology and returned to Memphis to pursue his dreams. His quest for knowledge led him to learn more about science, literature, philosophy, technology, and other subjects.
Fielder worked in the tech and entertainment industries where he influenced many lives with his humor. In addition, he established a charity to help the homeless in the Memphis area. After his death, the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis established a scholarship program (Josh Fielder Memorial Scholarship) in his memory.
The Josh Fielder Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student resident in Tennessee, Arkansas, or Mississippi to pursue an undergraduate program at an accredited vocational or technical school, college, or university in the greater Memphis area later. This scholarship awards $1,200 to only one student every year. Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
