Every year, the Journalism Education Association through its Future Journalism Teacher Scholarships program awards scholarships to secondary-school teachers to pursue scholastic journalism. The scholarship is open to secondary-school teachers interested in furthering their studies in journalism.

The Future Journalism Teacher Scholarships program awards a total of two scholarships of $1,000 each. The scholarship is awarded to teachers who are interested in improving their journalism teaching skills with a focus on scholastic journalism.
