The scholarship was created in collaboration with the Chambers Family Foundation and the Conservation Federation of Missouri to honor the memory of Glenn and Jim Chambers. Both were nature lovers.
The Conservation Federation of Missouri (CFM) is a nonprofit organization that works to preserve Missouri’s outdoor heritage and natural resources. They are the largest and most representative conservation group in Missouri.
Two scholarships will be given in this year’s award: a $1,000 graduate award and a $500 senior undergraduate award. Students in Missouri colleges or universities are encouraged to apply.

This scholarship was initially established to honor Jim Chambers following his untimely passing in 1994. The name was changed to "Chambers family" after Glenn's passing in 2017.
