The BSN & Post-Baccalaureate Scholarship is awarded to students of nursing in the state of Texas. It is awarded by the Good Samaritan Foundation (GSF).

The Good Samaritan Foundation was established in 1951 by Reverend Clyde J. Verheyden. The mission of the organization is to increase the number of highly-trained and dedicated nurses ‘at the bedside’ of Texas patients.

Every year the recipients of the award are given $1,000 per semester. However, previous applicants must reapply each semester.
