The Foundation was formed in 1961 in honor of Abe and Annie Seibel who were known for their charity in Galveston.
Some foundation funds are designated towards construction
Every year, the Foundation designates funds to support the construction of residence halls and student centers at Texas colleges and universities.
The foundation has supported construction projects
In 2015, the Foundation through its trustee, Frost Bank, contributed $3 million toward the construction of a student center in the New Jenny Sealy Hospital at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Helped build a servery at Rice University
In 2010, the Abe and Annie Seibel Servery was constructed at Rice University, which is a 22,000 sq ft dining facility for the Will Rice and Lovett Colleges.
Supported construction of Academic Complex at TAMU
