The Tyler’s Place Scholarship was established in honor of Tyler Anasagasti who was diagnosed with autism as a child. Tyler was the son of Robert and Terri Anasagasti. The Anasagasti family believes that everyone should have a place where they feel welcomed, cared for, and nurtured.

The Tyler’s Place Scholarship is a $2,000 scholarship award funded by Arizona State University. Applicants for this scholarship must be pursuing a career serving the special needs community. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be considered. The scholarship is open to incoming first-year students and incoming undergraduate transfer students.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time at Arizona State University in a program serving the special needs community. Applicants are not required to demonstrate financial need. Applications are also not required to make a Free Application for Financial Student Aid (FAFSA).
