The Talent Incentive Program Grants (TIP) is an incentive that supports Wisconsin students who require financial needs or those from nontraditional/ disadvantaged backgrounds. The program is sponsored by the Wisconsin Educational Opportunity Program (WEOP).

The Wisconsin Educational Opportunity Program (WEOP) initiative was created by the Wisconsin Department of public instruction to provide readiness programs, resources, and support to young adults. They currently offer four statewide programs and three regional programs. All WEOP programs are free.

Complete all sections of the application form

Incomplete applications attract disqualification. Contact the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction if you need clarification about any form part.

Add only four digits of your social

Only input the last four digits of your social security number in your application form. A DPI-WEOP staff person will contact you or your parent/guardian by phone to obtain the remaining social security digits. This is done to ensure the safekeeping of your personal identifying information.

The award is based on financial need and affiliation with nontraditional/ disadvantaged circumstances. Applicants must meet at least one criterion from either group to be considered for the award.
