The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) was founded in 1969 with 121 member institutions. It now has 825 member nursing schools with the goal of establishing quality nursing education. AACN founded the Scrubin Uniforms – AACN Scholarship to support nursing students to complete their education.
The Scrubin Uniforms – AACN Scholarship will grant a total of $2,500 three times every year. September 1, December 1, and March 1 are the deadlines. The September 1 deadline will be dedicated to sponsoring a student who wishes to serve as a member of the faculty following graduation.
To apply, students must fill out an online application, provide demographic information, and academic achievements, and write a brief essay. There are no minimum grade requirements, and applicants of all nationalities and genders are accepted. Applicants do not need to be financially needy to be eligible.
