The Pass the Torch Teacher Scholarships program aims to help all aspiring teachers reach their goals by offering financial assistance to qualifying students, and ensuring access to quality preparation materials, regardless of income level.
The program offers a reward of $10,000 to two scholarship recipients to help them foster their quest of becoming teachers that will make an impact in the lives of students. One award of $5,000 is for an elementary education scholar and another $5,000 is for a secondary education scholar. This is after the applicants must have highlighted the different impact their past teachers made in their lives.
It is also a scholarship to celebrate teachers that have made a tremendous impact in the lives of students, making them develop an interest in the teaching career. Applicants are to submit a video as specified on the scholarship page.

Play your video on a device different from the one you recorded it on so that you can check the sound e.g. If you recorded it on your phone, check it on a computer.

If you are using music, images, or other content that you did not create, ensure that your usage follows copyright and intellectual property laws.
Create a backup of your original video
Ensure to save the original video somewhere safe. You will be asked to provide the file if you are selected as a finalist, and also make sure you have attached your application form and included the link to your video.
