5 Facts About HPSP
You are committed to active duty
For every year of scholarship, your basic service commitment is one year of active-duty service in a non-training status, with a three-year minimum.
Military training is a plus
Successful students will gain medical experience similar to that of civil programs and have unique military electives, including specialized training that will prepare them to become an officer in the U.S. Military.
There is no uniform requirement
Successful students are not obliged to wear a uniform to class and will not be pulled away from school or studies for deployments.
