The Hamilton Award is awarded by the Alexander Hamilton Scholars annually. Undergraduates or high school students who wish to attend college have to demonstrate commitments to financial, academic, and personal needs.

The shortlisted candidates for Hamilton Award can enroll in the Hamilton Leaders Academy. It is a no-cost program for students that help aspirants gain acceptance and make a transition successfully to university and work life. It offers non-renewable cash of $1,000 annually, paid in two installments of $500, with an autographed copy of Alexander Hamilton and Richard Brookhiser. Along with this, selected applicants get Doug Hamilton-signed proclamation and letters of congratulations.

There’s an option to submit a video as part of your application. So take the time to write a script before you start recording. Ensure you are in a quiet place with good lighting. Do a few takes, and choose the best clips. Edit them into a cohesive video.
