It was established in 2008 and gifted $16 million from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Trust (CME Trust).
The scholarship is for undergraduate sophomores, junior and seniors, or graduate students majoring in one of the following degrees: accounting, computer science, cyber security, data science, finance, financial engineering, information technology, math, or statistics. Students also have to be attending one of the partner schools listed.
