The Barbara Rhomberg Nursing Scholarship, sponsored by B4 Brands, is to support nursing students in achieving the career of their dreams, especially those non-traditional, full-time students pursuing undergraduate degrees in nursing.
The scholarship awards one winner $1,000 each year. The amount is directly paid to the school to enable students to pay for their tuition and other education-related costs. The awarding body, B4 Brand’s effort is committed to limiting the spread of illness-causing infections, improving wellness, reducing absenteeism, and ending the use of chemicals that threaten the health of the environment.
Applicants must be either enrolled in a full-time undergraduate nursing program working toward an associate or bachelor’s degree; or be non-traditional students, defined as students who did not immediately continue their education after high school. They must have at least a three-year gap between high school and college or university enrollment. Applicants are to submit essays, recommendation letters, and grade transcripts along with their applications.
