The Udall Undergraduate Scholarship

The Udall scholarship honors the legacies of Morris and Stewart Udall, whose careers had a significant impact on Native American self-governance, health care, and the stewardship of public lands and natural resources. This scholarship awards college sophomores and juniors for leadership, public service, and responsibility to issues pertaining to Native American nations or to the environment. Those hoping to win must complete an 11-question application and submit an 800-word essay on a speech, legislative act, book, or public policy statement by either Morris K. Udall or Stewart L. Udall and its impact on their interests and goals.
