Omega Phi Beta Sorority is committed to achieving gender equality, empowering females, and promoting academic excellence. They grant Reach for the Gold Book Scholarship (RGBS) to support the growth and development of girls and women belonging to certain communities.
This scholarship of $1,000 is given to one woman, who becomes the winner after submitting two 500-word essays.
One essay should be on how you will contribute to society after completing your post-graduation. Another topic is the service activities you will take part in when in college and how you plan to motivate others to do the same.

Score at least 24 in ACT
Students wishing to go ahead with Reach for the Gold Book Scholarship should score a minimum mark of 24 on the American College Test. If not, they must have a minimum Scholarship Assessment Test score of 1200 in Math, Writing, and Critical Reading.

Writing personal essays on the two topics mentioned by the Omega Phi Beta Sorority is mandatory. Research well before you start writing. Ensure the essays are crisp, properly punctuated and formatted, and devoid of any jargon and grammatical error.

Students need to score the minimum GPA
To qualify for the scholarship, women must attain a minimum GPA score of 3.4 on a 4 GPA scale and be high school graduates or seniors.
Submit copies of ACt or SAT score
Candidates need to attach a copy of the American College Testing or Scholarship Assessment Test, but they can skip this document if their transcript has the details.
Students should submit passport photographs
Applicants need to attach a passport-style photograph to qualify for the scholarship, and its size should not be more than 2" x 2".
