Beauty Changes Lives
The Scholarship is funded by JCS Beauty, a leading manufacturer of hair products in the U.S. The organization has a deep commitment to assisting its customers overcome various hair challenges, and one of the ways it can achieve this is by promoting the education of specialists in the field. This scholarship is, therefore, geared towards this goal and is offered in collaboration with the Beauty Changes Lives organization.
The scholarship is purely for people who identify as Black or African American. Additionally, they must be legal residents of the U.S. and should be new or continuing students at an accredited cosmetology program in the country. Following the completion of their studies, the students must be eligible for licensure in their states or Canada.
The scholarship grants an award of $5,000 to two overall winners. The prize money can only be used for particular expenses, and ineligible items are outlined in the terms and conditions document. A significant advantage of participating in the scholarship, even if one does not win, is the application skills and experiences you will gain that can then be transferred to other opportunities available through Beauty Changes Lives.
