To make legal counsel available and accessible to everyone, the Jacoby & Meyers Law firm founders and team initiated a scholarship program. In 1972, the founders of the law firm began offering the Jacoby & Meyers Law School Student Scholarship program. The scholarship is awarded to one exceptional student per year.
The Jacoby & Meyers Law School Student Scholarship was endorsed in 2016 for those who have demonstrated the highest level of resourcefulness. The scholarship program was aiming to contribute to the continued development of the legal community.
The law firm is gearing up to develop a community of professional legal teams who represent clients and the community’s interests in a court of law. Offering financial assistance to outstanding students in the legal profession was one way to achieve this goal. The award winner receives $2500 to use in financing their professional or academic goals in the legal field. Applicants need to be enrolled at accredited universities or colleges. They are to submit their transcripts and essays along with their application.
